What was the problem Blubs?
Was it just downloading being very slow or something? If I can get the file, I'll mirror it for you one of our servers here at work which are quiet.

There was a thread from Blubs asking for some help with drivers for a MS Sidewinder joystick.
I reply and when I get returned to the thread, it's turned into a VB question from somebody else.
Erm, yeah. Now Blubs's thread is AWOL....

Sorry for slow reply, busy and all that....
Chris, I'm not sure I even downloaded the right driver. It took about 90mins to download from the Microsoft website to home but when complete, the wheel still didn't recognise it.
Do you have a URL so I can check whether I've got the right driver?
By the way, the wheel is a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback.
Otherwise, the mirror idea seems good to me.
Cheers
