Not in the thread about the blown TV tube there wasn't, well anyway, it's saying there are LESS posts than there actually are. If posts were deleted would it be the other way round?

No not tonight we stayed in and watched Vanilla Sky on DVD. Don't bother....Actually it had it's moments but it was maybe 45mins too long. Nice twist at the end though.

The most likely reasons are due to moderator pruning or over-zealous users editing their posts and the edit bug kicking in.

Two threads in muppets I have heavily pruned recently.

I don't think that is the reason. E.g. The "Right! THIS STOPS HERE AND NOW!" thread says on the front screen that it has 11 replies, but it goes on for 3 pages??? If posts had been deleted, then surely it would say there was MORE posts, not LESS?
