No I'm not taking the p155..
A colleague of mine at work needs to buy about 36 angle bricks (45 degree), but has been quoted £4 + VAT per brick...
Now, all you DIY peeps and suppliers out their, can you suggest anywhere where he can get these cheaper??
Any help appreciated, Alex

Alex,
These are more expensive items...they are brick "specials" aka "cant" bricks (trust me.....I'm an Architect ).
If he were buying a pallete full they would be cheaper but since it's only small numbers they cost a bit more......
......is he looking for a particular colour or is it just any colour??....try a local builder or brick merchant-they may have small quantities left over
Hope this helps m8

dave-w is spot on but a much cheaper solution may be cut bricks (assuming this is a 45 degree external angled wall) which are then literally glued together with some kind of resin compound.
I used this solution for a base to a conservatory and was very impressed with the results it was impossible to see the join on the external brick face
Ask at a reputable builders merchants (ie not B&B or Jewsons)and somone locally may be able to help you
The advantage also is that you can use the brick of your choce specials are normally limited to specific colours and finishes
Matt
ps for everybody else not in the building game Dave hasnt misspelt "cant"

I think you are Guildford area? I am down the road in poor old West Sussex (clay territory and home of brick makers). It might be worth your pal phoning Ockley brickworks and Rudgwick brickworks (100 yds from me!) and seeing if they can help. DL
