yeah maybe m8 but only if FF is on and they are on your team 
cracking little 18/6 on arabstreets earlier despite crap lag......the voice comms was working well although many people dont seem to have set it up or got a mic yet ! was working well though for me and a couple of the team.

Probably need extension cable 
Maybe vegas but I've never ever played it on-line before 1.3 came out...
Took to it like a duck to water & despite the fact the oppos were a 6 Clan of Frenchies who were very good, managed to get the hang of that map quickly & was top CT scorer

There is a great map called cs_speedball which is a small rectangular field laid out like a paintball field with all sorts of barriers etc to hide behind. Great fun

Lads, we can't do anything to the server because it isn't ours. We get it sight as seen. Now if we were to rent our own.......
Just a thought, Steve if we have a low turnout, we could unpassword it and then STi folks practice against visiting infidels? We still retain rcon admin privileges so we can boot nurks off.

as bazza says we cant get other maps unfortunately. cos predatoris a well kewl map according to a m8 whose server plays it quite often.
looking into possiblility of us getting offered a server but its only in early stages of chatting at the mo and i dont know if it would work....
otherwise if we get enough keen peeps we certainly could look into renting one and then we can have wotever maps we want. cant remember costs but i did have a look - did u ever look into this bazza ?

I thought we had the "merryXmas" server to practice on??? 
I can't remember whose it is - or the url - but it was out there someplace...
There weren't any problems with it were there? I would've thought that it'd need a "meet" scheduled as most times I jumped on, I ended up playing with myself & that is boring
If it's still available & it could be updated to 1.3 with new maps & voice etc...??

jj : good news, indeed as we seemed to be a bit short of players.
got a nice geforce pro card and if necessary i'll turn off smoke so i dont get affected by it so u carry on with smoke and whilst u playing with smoke i'll lob u one of my HE grens
dont worry bout vegas as no plans to play it tonite !

My GeForce 2GTS acrd used to have a problem with smoke. It wasn't until the latest 12.81 drivers that it actually didn't go bad whenever anyone threw a smoke grenade

2) Use Radio Call
3) Use new fangled voice
4) Walk over and jump around in front of him
or
5) Bounce a 9mm glock round of his nice shiny new Kevlar helmet

Just bought Half-Life generations so I can join in the fun. Downloaded 80Mb CS patch lasty night (all night 56K modem). Now got the message that my half life exe is out of date, another 75Mb patch!!!!!!! just started download.
Autoupdate dosen't work either even though I downloaded a 2.7 Mb patch for that (check internet connection........)so downloading via Barrysworld.
Looking for reassurance that its worth the wait and I'm doing the right thing.

its more than worth it believe me.
best online game ever.
forget quake / ut / kingpin / etc / etc
keep an eye out for when we are playing.
you should have bought a pc mag - pc zone / pc format - last version was on them and would have saved you quite a few mb's !
you will also need a small 2mb patch cos the retail version had some missing bits on 2 of the maps - de_inferno and de_survivor.

When you talk on CS a speaker shows above your head. During last nights session you had a speaker above your head all of the time. Was it because you were admin ? You should try and remove it cos it makes you really easy to see.

good game
must get a mic sorted! the difference it makes is unmeasureable. even tho i couldn't speak i could still listen and was very suprised with the quality of voicecomms. having only really heard 8 year olds squawking "your gay" and "i own" on public servers it makes a big difference having "other bomb site" or "hes round the corner"
sorry for knifing you JT at the start of one of the aztec rounds - bad habbit
least i didn't shoot anyone in the head at the start point last night oh and i didn't notice any lag effect when people were using voice comms.
