By the way, you do realise that because the injunction is against the newspaper that threatened to publish the story - and that newspaper only - there is no legal reason not to mention the name of the person involved elsewhere?

Can you mail Si with why you think that's the case? If your interpretation is correct then that's fine, we can then discuss it.

But I hope you'll understand that until we get a different and legally clear steer on it, we have to keep locking or removing threads that are on this subject.

I really don't think Mr Owen's lawyers had 'information resources' like SN in mind when they slapped on the injunction.

Maybe we are taking ourselves a little too seriously here...??

We can't afford to take the chance. You'd be surprised at who reads SN and what people have got in trouble for by posting on it.
