got UT for 9.99 the other week, have been playing it, and it's quite good. It's the GOTY one so I'm interested to know what the differences are over the 'normal' versions. I recall reading somewhere that GOTY includes some of the bonus packs (all of them? ie 1 -4??) thus I assume I won't need the other bonus packs.

Got the latest patch (436) so will apply that tonight.

Anyone got any good maps for me to play on?

Plus what, if any, mods are good.

looks like I;ve gotta get into binding again as well, remember this from my Quake days, lotsa fun

Hi Markus,

You will need bonus pack 4 no umod to bring it up to the lastest spec.As far as mods are concerned I don't use any(nor does anyone I know)actually I think Mark Khan uses aimbot .
If you can get Dead Simple Classic(old Doom map apparently)thats cool,and anything else that takes your fancy.
Also try and get UT Map Manager because then you can just install maps/skins/mods etc with a couple of mouse clicks.

downloaded bonus pack 4 no umod last night and installed it.
Will try to look out dead simple claissic. OK, will try to grab map manager.
Will drop you a mail about the IP, think I'll have to change my name to deadmeat, or fragtarget as I'm not that good, and I've heard u lot are a bit tasty! but hey, it's just a laff!

what about bindings? I know how to use/setup, but what are some good bindings? or is telling people your bindings akin to the magic circle telling how tricks are done

I'm hooked! been wandering around grabbing models, maps, and voicepacks like they are going out of fashion!

obviously not had a chance to try them yet, but the cool ones look like being, Homer, Mr Burns, Robocop and Darth Vader.
