Just read on www.skynews.com that Keither Sutherland has signed a deal of $10 million to star in another six series of 24. Great news if you ask me, just hope they can keep it fairly fresh and not end up like the x-files.

How are they going to do that then? Sequels always get progressively worse why should 24 be any different. Instead of being a classic one off, it's going to turn into tedious repetition. (IMO)

Because they know people will still watch it and the dollars will roll in. And they are there to make money.

i hate to use the word "only", but he's "only" getting 10million? my god, the cast of friends get something like 500,000 per episode. and considering what the cast of frasier etc, and movie stars get 10million for 6 years doesn't seem "good"? or is that per series?
