Did you see the two pictures of the unfortunate Mr Bond (I've heard that before somewhere ) and the guy the FBI are looking for. If they are the same person then he's used all the money from the fraud on Plastic Surgery - Still they need a couple more days to investigate fully
"Muppets" seems to sum it up !

Don't know what the rules are in the US, but in the UK even if you are found guilty of a crime, imprisoned and later acquitted you cannot sue the authorities. It's only possible if there was evidence of malice in the original arrest/prosecution. So theoretically you could spend 20 years in jail (or following on from the English lessons thread, gaol ) for a crime you didn't commit, lose everything and have no comeback afterwards

I'm sure you are right - if however you were guilty (and not acquitted) you could probably sue for an infrigment on your human rights (being imprisoned before you were meant to be )

Typical , the US Policing the World - just like gwantan..., er, guantan..., er, Camp X-Ray. Lets hold people without charge and without legal representation for well over a year
At least in California they have the "three strikes and you're out" rule. As far as foreigners are concerned, they are guilty until the US (authorities!) can get of their fat ***** and start to engage the odd brain cell or two
