Did you see the two pictures of the unfortunate Mr Bond (I've heard that before somewhere 
) and the guy the FBI are looking for. If they are the same person then he's used all the money from the fraud on Plastic Surgery - Still they need a couple more days to investigate fully

Don't know what the rules are in the US, but in the UK even if you are found guilty of a crime, imprisoned and later acquitted you cannot sue the authorities. It's only possible if there was evidence of malice in the original arrest/prosecution. So theoretically you could spend 20 years in jail (or following on from the English lessons thread, gaol ) for a crime you didn't commit, lose everything and have no comeback afterwards

I'm sure you are right - if however you were guilty (and not acquitted) you could probably sue for an infrigment on your human rights (being imprisoned before you were meant to be [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img])

At least in California they have the "three strikes and you're out" rule. As far as foreigners are concerned, they are guilty until the US (authorities!) can get of their fat ***** and start to engage the odd brain cell or two [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]
