Its great fun, I trained for a while down in Poole, Dorset when I was about 19/20yrs old. Really hard work, but worth it... I did it for the hand-to-hand mainly, but some of the head locks and kicking techniques were excellent... My main martial art was Tae Kwon Do at the time, I did the Mui Thai to better my close range attacks for Tae Kwon Do competitions...
Can recommend both - but found Mui Thai better for 'bad day at work' syndrome.. although some of the full contact TKD classes were good for that too...
Hmpf... if only work didn't get in the way now... why is it all classes start at 7-7:30pm on week days!! I don't get home before then from work!!

Bajie - cheers mate... I tried to start the TKD class at the Spectrum, but I just can't get to them if they are before 8pm... I'll get some more info on the above, thanks mate.
PS. Diesel - yeah, I thought I'd spelt it wrong.

I have found a load of different spellings for it. Apologies if I got it wrong!

Basically, you just get your legs stretched 'til you can do the box splits, have someone drop large coconuts on your belly then kick a palm tree 'til it breaks and falls over
Once you have achieved the above 'skills', fly to Bangkok and beat up Tong Po
