Hi Mark,

Fairly simple this one:

<FORM ACTION="mailto:me@where.com?Subject=[My Subject]" METHOD="POST" ENCTYPE="text/plain">

The Subject bit prefills the Subject line of an email (but they can still change it). The important part is the ENCTYPE="text/plain" as this changes it to inline pairs rather than the attached .att file.

Cheers

Ian

Question

Being a numpty but..

I've got an html form which I have set the action to be <FORM ACTION="mailto:me@myaddress.com" METHOD=POST>

When I get the e-mail it comes as a postform.att file. When I open it the file (in notepad) it is a huge long line of text that is rather difficult to read. Any ideas on how to make the end result a bit more readable??

Mark (feeling a bit silly as I used to be able to do this but can't remember anymore)

Cool

I could email you a html form and perl script if you want that formats it all nicely and also sends emails to the person filling in th eform if you want.

Mail me if you are interested.
