Win 2000 --- HELP ME Please¬!!!!!!

AAAAARGGGGHHHH --- My job depends on this

I have a hard drive that has been used as a secondary hard drive. however there is a folder on it that has ahd permissions set to allow only only one user to access it.

How can i get the stuff out of this folder... It says access denied..

The install of windows that swt these permissions has long gone .. there must be a way

HELP... HELP... Help

Do you have administrator rights, if so right click on the folder, select properties, then security. You can then reset all the permissions on the folder.

If you have'nt got admin rights, then find out the admin password.

In all my panciking I'd completely forgot to just add myself with full rights.. It was me who set this up in the firstplace .. doh!!

Right-click on the folder, goto Properties, then Permissions. Add Everyone in, and click the button that says something like Make All Enclosed Files/Folders the same.
Hit Apply and that will do the job
