Looking to upgrade my Ericcson T68i to a Samsung S100 over the next month or so when my Vodafone Contract finishes. Anyone know what Vodafone charge for upgrades to new handsets (over and above the normal price of the handset)? And if they are easy to talk down if you threaten to leave?

Simon.

P1F - I'd speak to retention (ie. threaten to leave), as the upgrade charges are based on which way the wind is blowing it seems... Your best bet is find the phone you want, find the best contract deal on it and threaten to leave VF unless they can price match... Oh, prior to that go into a VF shop and ask them to print off a upgrade price list for you (valid for 14 days) - then look around to compare.

I just did this today. Make sure you phone to get your PAC code which basically means you are looking to port your number over to another supplier...... They then think you are serious about leaving. The PAC code is valid for 30 days so you have time to think about what you want to do

I got a new Panasonic GB87 for £50 and 6 months half price line rental.... I was happy

Good luck
