Saw Madonna there (don't get jealous now) the other year, was awesome. For that setup they had a U shape in front of the stage, main floor was seated and round that they had the raised seating stretching back to the edge. If you check out the earlscourt website (can't remember the URL off-hand, try earlscourt.co.uk or with a dash) they have a seating plan there I think. I was at the back of the floor area, could see her on stage but she wasn't very big from that distance. Two sizeable video screens above and to the left/right of the stage helped though.
[edited cos I found the seating plan I got a couple of years ago]
Blocks 20-29 and 40-49 are raised up on a bank, 20-29 extend back and underneath the 40's (from what I remember). I don't think there's really any big gaps between the floor (AA-DD). To get a really decent view I'd go for floor seating (although DD is starting to lose it's appeal), or round at the sides 28-29 and 2-21, maybe the higher areas sides too but you'd only see the top of their heads there I think.
There was space to either side of the floor seats with the official people walking up and down every now and then. Some people tried to get up front next to the stage but it wasn't easy, or to stay there once you got there. Entrances were at the back left and right, maybe others at the back upstairs? There'll probably be a bar too as soon as you get in with drinks (inc. alcohol), snack food (burgers) and stalls/a shop to buy programs and t-shirts etc as there usually are with big name concerts like this.
Getting out afterwards is the worst bit - whatever you do don't park near it or on the road that goes past the entrance - walk far enough away and call a taxi / book one before, or walk to the nearest tube or a bus stop somewhere. It _will_ take a while if it's fully booked.
Hope that's helpful.
Hope earls court don't mind me using that diagram here.

At Earls Court I've seen Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Simply Red....
The one thing I would recommend is to get as near to the front as you can - unless you have a seriously good pair of binoculars

Puff - I was there as well, 6 rows from the front.
Regarding the venue I remember the queues for the bogs and bar being scarily long (which is not really that uncommon for these things) but most memorable was feeling the bursts of heat from the lights and pyrotechnics on my face all night. Unbelieveable show - One of the best I've ever been to.
Cheers

I used to live about 100m from Earls Court...
I remeber vividly the chaos caused by concerts.
Still, it was fun to supersoaker the noisy crouds from our balcony

I saw Pink Floyd too Years and years ago. They did Dark Side of the Moon and in the plane crash bit of 'Time' a huge plane 'flew' through the Hall and crashed behind the stage in an enormous explosion
It was Awesome!!
