I noticed I had a missed called on my mobile, so went to call it back and I get that bird saying sorry you have dialed incorrectly, so if the number does not exist, how could it call me????
Any idea's?

If someone's called you from their company phone system, the number that comes up on your mobile is often a 'generic' number, which is allocated to their company but which may not actually have a phone connected to it.
For example, suppose a company owned numbers 123400 through 123499. That gives them 100 extensions that can be dialled directly. Because of the way the system works, anyone calling you from that company might appear as 123400 (regardless of which extension they're on), but the correct number to call them back on might be 123456.
Usually the number that appears on your mobile will be the number for reception or the switchboard at the company, but it's not guaranteed.
As for getting scammed, just don't ever call any premium rate numbers for any reason - simple

the thing that's strange about it is it was at 10:30pm, it rang for the normal number of rings (I was driving and phone was in my pocket).
I understand about the switchboard thing, however this number seems to be a mobile number as it starts 07*******.
It's a crap scam if you can't call it
