kids car seats in a 330ci convertible

Has anyone tried to put kids car seats (Maxi one's 9mth to 4yrs) into the back of a new shape bmw convertible? On first looks it doesn't look like there's less space than the back of my 4dr scoob.
Anyone got any experience of this?
If anyone is interested, I've spec'd up a new 330Ci convertible with a few options and it'll set me back 26K. I love discount
