I have a project which has a 98 installer and an NT installer.

When the installer restarts the computer, it needs to run a component which installs some dll's etc.

This worked fine, until we added another install option.

Now.. for some reason this component does not run properly on the NT version on restart (this is not on the new install option, as it only runs on the original install option anyway), but works fine still on the 98 version.

Unfortunately, we can't get hold of the developer that did this change for us, and my client's raid array has gone down with the backups of the old install shield code, etc.

I have tried to find out why, but just can't as I don't know install shield well enough, but it is possible that someone with enough knowledge would be able to look at the 98 script and the NT script and see why it still works on 98, but not on NT?
