Highlights of World Karate Championships recently held in Aberdeen will be on Sky Sports 3 at 10pm.

I'll be the one in the Codrington Budokai Ippon Shobu team event fighting as number two and getting a nasty black eye from a rather large Russian.
Failing that you can see me in the opening ceremony. I'm the one with a rather large hole in his ear

They only showed the finals.
Which is a real shame as there were some quality bouts in the eliminations

Bajie, what style of karate? ISTR there's a bit of a difference btwn kykoshinkai and shotokan!

Ex-taekwondo man meself, went off to hospital with concussion in first ever tournament - Olympic team selection 1988! Now hamstring forces me to try aikido, but I've had four instructors in three languages, and haven't made much progress as a result!
