Is it normal to pay it over 10 months i.e. no payment req'd for Feb and March?
Sorry for the noob question - just its the first year Ive paid it. Hoping Ive got two months off. Payment form from Council doesnt make it clear.

With Council Tax you have several otions. Pay it all at once (why?) Pay it in two 6 monthly installments. (Why?) Or pay by direct debit over 10 months interest free.

I had the some question about my flat so I called my local council (poole)
And yes you do pay it over 10 months but as I didnt start my payments til May I only get one month off not two
