I was one of the lucky ones who had Libertysurf's £20 per year email (all off-peak internet FREE!!!)
However, the time has come (they've decided they weren't making any money!!) to change....
What are my options? I don't need 24/7 access - got fibre-optic network at work
Therefore, I jusat need evening and weekend access...
I've been looking at the BT site and only found 2 competetive sites....
BTInternet - £9.99 per month (5 email/10meg webspace)
Freeserve - £8.99 per month (unlimited email/15meg webspace)
I know I'm grumbling over a few quid, but I have been used to the equivalent of £1.66 per month!!!!
Anybody got any further recommendations?
Regards,
Dan

Used Freeserve for about 2 years - was so-so - changed to a Windows 2000 PC and it wouldn't run on it - moved to BTInternet SurfTime a couple of months ago, works fine on W2000, and happy with it.

I've just changed from LibertySurf to Line One on BT surftime and it seems fine, actually it's better then LibertySurf cos there's non of those bloody annoying banner ads and "message of the day" pop-up.

I've been thinking about changing aswell. Currently with AOL paying £14.99 for unlimited access. However, it's mainly evenings & weekends that I use the internet so, I probably paying more than I need to. Have been considering BT Internet or Freeserve the same as Dan.
Anybody know of any alternatives? Any more opinions on BT Internet v's Freeserve?

Blueyonder surf unlimited is £9.99 per month off of a Telewest line. Think NTL are doing same deal.
Broadband cable modem is £25 per month, if you have existing TW services. No extra line needed and really fast connection speeds. 64 K/B sec down, 16 K/B sec up.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info chaps.....
I'm changing on Friday, and I think I'm going the BT Internet route.....
Looks to be the most reliable.
Looked at the others (Nildram, Madasafish etc) - bit pricey (remember - only used to paying £1.66 p/m!!!! )
I'll let you know how I get on
Cheers
