While driving up the delights of the M1 earlier this week, I got a very small stone chip on the windscreen, right in my line of sight. The chip is about 1.5-2mm wide, but its annoying as fuŁk, cos I keep seeing a black dot during the day.

Whats the crack (no pun...) with getting it replaced? Would the car fail an MOT in the current state?

Cheers

I've got a few very small ones which look like specs of dirt. Annoying when you've just washed the car. Will they repair those under the windscreen charge on my insurance??
