Believe me......i know my games.........official f1 is the best racing game you can get on the ps2 at the moment.......if you love f1 then you will love this game....but at the end of the day......it is f1.......so no silly power sliding etc....and all the cars on offer are obviously very samey.............it is very impressive though.... ....that is....until gt3 comes out..........

What is it? I know GT3 will be but until its out what is holding the title? which F1 game is best? the EA sports one or the offical one with murray on it?

I only had them hired out for a night each, but the official one is IMHO not very good, it may be possible that after a while you get used to the strange steering, but I did not have it for long enough, and the EA one is terrible

ah just get the motorbike game, its better than both and is really quite good.

Tokyo Highway Battle will keep you going before GT3 comes out. Its a little similar in that you can buy and customise cars, then go out onto the highway and hunt down your rivals. Once you catch them, you incite them into a race by flashing your headligts at them!

Its quite a larf, although the scenery is a little monotonous.





Also, Le Mans is out very soon, and that will give you a great race! I've got the DC version and its great - especially 2 player!

You think the backdrops are monotonous in the game? Try driving around here in real life...

Although it is nice knowing your motor is less likely to get stolen!

moto gp it is.
it is actually rather good, certainly the best bike game ive played on either pc/dreamcast/ps1/megadrive/amiga/n64 and the replays are a cross between gran turismo and eurosport !

Midnight Club is fun if stomach churning. Only had it a short while and only two races to go, not sure if I'll play it again once done.

Ridge 5 aint bad, whilst waiting for GT3, just buy Unreal tournement, some bud, relax and blow the crap out of anything that moves.

Should keep you happy till GT3 comes out.

ok, bought the offical F1 game.....rather good, nice details....

got moto GP as well....total pants....can't get the bloody thing to stay on the track!

got crazy taxi as well....fun for 10 mins but thats it..

offical F1....I would recommend it.

Told you f1 was good............le mans is a bit pants...........just wait for gt3...........Red Faction is out Friday........bit like Goldeneye on the n64........will be good........then Onimusha on the 6th or 7th of july..........awesome game..........I NEED GT3.............NOW.

eh? have you tried moving the joypad rather than trying telepathy ?

Its actually quite easy once you get the hang off it, you can rear wheel slide it and all sorts !

i know..thats the problem...it slides too much!...and some of the corners are too tight for the steering....

seen a nice demo of gt3....gawd...my social life will be over when that comes out....
