I recently sold my car via autotrader without any problems. I bought a 2 week internet only add and after the first week I had only received 1 phone call. The second week I received a phone call from someone else and they bought it the same day as looking at in with cash
He did not have a test drive, no HPI checks, no checking VIN numbers, MOT, etc.
It was not a Scooby however

I guess he means the canvassers??
When they ring, just say - 'could you hold a minute?' and leave them on the phone until you hear the phone burr when they have logged off - BRILLIANT!! the advantage is, if someone else is ringing about thae car - you can say the phone hasnt stopped ringing

I remember advertising an old Opel Rekord 1.9 Automatic, for £120 with MOT and Tax and all up and running well. This was a tide-over car, in about 1985. The dicks you get ringing is amazing!! Whats the colour? WTF?? I want a yellow one like my mates!! 
and suchlike!! I sometimes wonder if people are having a laugh - but I am sure that there are these nutters really walking the streets and typing on BBS's no doubt!!
