Was released last weekend, any danger of CSTastic reappearing with new maps too?
If not who's up for renting our own server, £50 a month between 10 of us shouldn't break the bank!

I would definitely be interested!
Never done much online gaming due to latency as I'm on 56K modem . tried getting ADSL but I'm too far away from the exchange so I'm waiting for either RADSL or cable modem!!

hi bazza
unfortunately cstastic is very very unlikely to be coming back online
however renting a server sounds a good idea if we not talkin to much per month and get reasonable number of COMMITTED people.
roadrunner : welcome to the CS fold. i've only ever had a 56k and its not that bad but obviously we're at a disadvantage compared to the lpb's on cable and adsl. i cant get adsl yet either
cheers

Got this today from DSL mailing list which may interest roadrunner ...
RADSL limits are about to placed on the service means a relaxation of test limits, i.e. a dB loss of 55dB will be acceptable soon, meaning USB service will be available out to 5.5km
