I know there are a few Skiiers on ScoobyNet and though this might be of interest to anyone using the SnowTrain:-
I've just been Skiing to Mottaret (3 Valleys). We travelled down on the overnight SnowTrain Calais to Moutiers. We placed our bags in the luggage compartment at the end of our carriage and on arrival at Moutiers mine and another member of our groups bags had disappeared. All we had were the clothes we were stood in and a pair of Skis each. Total value of each bag with contents was approaching £2000 A lot of time was wasted during the holiday buying replacement clothes/equipment, filling out insurance / Police reports, etc.
Flying next time I reckon!
Cheers,
Ian.
