Did anybody else have a thing called a 'Going!' (ryhmes with boing)?
A completely and utter pointless plastic rugby ball threaded onto two bits of rope that you wizzed back and forth until somebody gave in ( and had their knuckles wrecked).

'Monkey' on Ch4 at about midnight on Thursdays brings it all back for me- it was originally on Friday evenings before I had to go to Cubs.
The things they used to make you do to get a badge! I guess it was the same everywhere...?
