Just for those that posted on here a while ago (I can't find the thread now)
To get the SPV to learn a new word, just input it using the "old" way.... eg) press 2 three times for "c" etc... the phone just then remembers all the words for the t9 dictionary input like this.
I found this out quite by accident.
