Just played my copy of Gran Turismo 3 (Japanese version). Absolutely awesome!! except for the music, why on earth did they remove the typical GT in-game music and replacing it with crappy Lenny Krawitz etc songs!!??
According to the guidebook, not sure if there are F1 cars though....

Definitely F1 cars.

You have to unlock them later in the game and they're all Senna's cars. (Maclaren, Lotus, etc...)

Sony have confirmed the existence of F1 cars in the game.

They're not officially licensed but they're in there. See my earlier post for some good shots.
