Sony PC5E is small though the stills are 640x480 (I've got one, it fits in my pocket and is brilliant!).
Canon Elura 2 is also pretty small, though reports of the battery running down in a week, even if unused, put me off.
PC110 is a bit bigger but does have megapixel stills and a flash (and DVin as well, so you don't need to 'hack' it).
However, this still isn't a patch on the 3 or 4 megapixel digital cameras - if you want to do any serious photo work, i'd suggest one of each

I have a sony PC5E US spec 120x digital zoom and 40 x optical zoom and i think it's the dogs dangles as already said it's small enough to fit in your pocket we got some great videos from the coasters in Florida last year and from rallying this year and you can do stills from it as well look at the link for some samples
