Where the berstewards took hundreds of hours to do a easy job, Showed no real knowledge of the job etc. I am not supprised by this accident.The whole set up and managment of workers seems to be a complete Screw up.
the driver should have stopped the train. Told everyone to "Abandon ship!!" and had the train checked.

many moons ago ,My brother who was a consultant engineer for a major contractor told me he wouldnt use the tube as it was in such a state.

Once congestion charging takes place, the tube will probably be the main transport system in London . Coupled with the imminent PPP (which admittedly Red Ken is against) means that travelling around London is not going to be fun :****-pants:
...still, at least they are proposing to waste TWO POINT SIX BILLION POUNDS (which undoubtably will increase several-fold) on the 2012 Olymipc bid
When will they realise that "big business" and services don't mix???
