I went to my local Kentucky Fried Chicken tonight. Anyway being a greedy git, I had one of these buy one get one free meal deals.
Went into the restaurant and told the bloke behind the counter that I wanted 2 meals but instead of a drink, could I have chips instead. Being a muppet he went to ask the manager and came back telling me I wasn't allowed. Anyway I asked to speak to this manager.

Manger:- Hello sir I'm afraid that we can't give you chips instead of a drink as it wouldn't be economically viable.
Popeye:- You are Joking right. Its hardly going to make you bust giving me fries instead of a drink.
Manager:-sry sir its not possible.
Popeye:- FFS its the end of the night, you're chips are going cold and you'll only chuck them away.
Manager:-Its not econoically viable.
Popeye:- So you're telling me one peeled spud is more than a cup of coke?? For gods sake get a life!!!!

Anyway we went on for ages and he wouldn't budge. I ended up walking out and going to Mcdonalds on principle. Really wanted to go back in and knock him out-grhhhhhhhhhh.

Was the service any better in Maccy Dees? All the fast food places I've been to are Sh1te. McD's especially burgers that sit around for ages, fcukwit staff and overpriced unhealthy food- I keep going back though so who's the idiot?
Also IMHO KFC is the devils's own food being made out battery hens with festering sores!(I once went to one of their suppliers farms- YUCK!)

I love the unhealthy crap.
It's always fantastic to eat 2 nuggets and half my chips before complaining that the chicken tastes like rubber and the chips have got too much salt on. One new meal for me

i know i have come across idiots like that too, i think its alot to do with the computers they use , see they need to show what offers are selling and for stock control maybe thats why they need to do this silly stuff

Why didn't you just pay for the extra chips, get your free meal, and then accidentally spill the whole (unwanted) drink over the table/floor just before you left

It's now even less economically viable as I'm going somewhere else!' Instead of losing a few pence (or gaining a few pence) they are now losing a few quid. Let them do the maths (which I bet they can't).

I'll be it's inflexible tills involved here. They can't change a drink for chips under the 'system' and the 'system' rules above all!

KFC are ****. Everytime we go they always forget something in our order, that is no word of a lie.

One day, after a 45 minute wait, their coke machine was on the blink, so we had the choice of water, tea or coffee. oh, musnt forget the hot chocolate. They had a fridge full of cartons of orange and blackcurrant. When we asked for one, we were told 'theyre for the kids'. I don't think some how KFC would have that many customers in one day.

Even if he'd typed in drink on the till, he could have just given me chips instead with minimum fuss. Who would have noticed??? Most places I eat at r flexible.

e.g. pizzahut you can change chicken wings to garlic bread on meal deals.

Am I right in saying that most KFCs are franchises? Don't know whether that would make a difference, but most McDs are run by McDs. KFC and BK are more likely to be run by a franchise......
