Hi everyone! I am from Anchorage, Alaska and I decided to join you folks because I am just about ready to order a 2003 WRX. The 2002 model was the first model released in the USA amazingly. It's about time! We've been screaming for this car for years now. The STI model is expected to arrive in about 2 more years, but I am not sure if I want to wait that long.

I test drove the 2002 and it was awesome to say the least, I love it. I am not used to power like that. The American WRX is rated at 227 HP, not sure if that's lower or higher than you guys but our cars are usually weakened some when they release them here. It has much more pep than my Ford Probe, although it is pretty fast too. Anyways, I hope to learn some good information from you guys before I pick up my Scooby so that I will have a head start from the beginning.

I have a question, why do they call the WRX Scooby? Also, has anyone ever put Scooby Doo stickers on their WRXs?

Seeya!

Hi mate

This may seem like a really stupid question.... but...

How come you have a 2002 scooby, and are soon to get a 2003 scooby, but it is now 2001???
Does time pass different there in the US

BTW.. Scooby Do---- Subaru.... (Cockney rhyming slang )

What do you mean....do we have scooby-doo
stickers in our cars!!! Do you think that we're a bunch of sad'ohs, what will you be suggesting next, scooby-doo cuddly toys or even our scoobynet names in the rear window

Go to your local Warner Bros. store as they do a good line scooby products, "doh" thats me rumbled.

Be Good!!!!

Well, the first model that they released in the USA is the 2002 Impreza WRX. They released it this year. In 2002, when I pick up my car, they will have the 2003 model. That is the model that I will be ordering. I guess they just release the next year model a year early here. Strange huh?

Peace!
