just a quick question, found a really good price for some flights on the net,

will a local travel agent match the internet price, it looks as if it's a standard BMI flight.

If its flight-only, probably not (unless they happen to have a better deal through their own network) - nothing in it for them.

But why bother? I've booked all my holidays for the last few years over the net (flights generally through Expedia or the airline direct, and hotels direct) buy your insurance direct and you are sorted. Never had any problems and always been cheaper than any brochure/agent could do. Sometimes just run it past a good independent/specialist just to see if they can better it, but most say no.

Theres no reason why you cant do it on the net. I did a trip to the US and booked main flights + interconnects and a two centre stop with accommodation and insurance all on the net, same when going to spain, flights, accomodation, car hire all on the net, who needs travel agents?????

Most cheap flights online are negotiated fares, done directly between the airline and seller, so they probably wont be able to match the price anywhere else. The published fares will be the same as if you bought it at the airport though (so not cheap at all)
