Seen that happen when I was launching mine at Southsea in Hampshire - an XR2i was taking his ski out of the water when he started wheelspinning and sliding backwards (quite a current there). He eventually jumped out of the car and the car and ski sunk!
I wanted to laugh but I was just so gutted for the guy!
