might be worth looking at some 'Interior' Magazines at the local library (WHSmiths) and noting some of the web addresses in the advertisements.

No this is not a joke!
Having bought a nice house which needs some tweeking inside - i.e. get rid of the flowery curtains etc

I am in need of some inspiration!

here are some resources that will get you started I have included two uk product selectors, the allow you to search for all sorts of stuff by trade name, product type etc.. etc... You may find them hard work but some of the companies / products are quite bizarre.
