War - Am I missing something here?

Don't want to turn this into another Blair\Bush flagging off but......correct me if I'm wrong, the UN inspectors have found NO evidence of weapons of mass destruction.
So what the cuck are we doing going to war(probably). Surely it is within the rights of the UN to submit a resolution against US\UK for aggression against a UN member. Are we not a little hypocritical here.
I'm just not getting this, someone who thinks we should go to war please explain.

Why do some many people take the side of Sadam?
What do we have to loose, by taking this guy out?
Do you not here what Tony Blair is saying on the TV.
What reason do we have for not beleiving what he is saying about terrorist activity. Propoganda by the media??
Coments like "Blair is the tyrant" on TV. I'm glad these people aint running the country.
You need to get behind the the Goverment in times war.
How can you be peacefull when we are under attack, or our greatest ally is under attack.
People like Sadam must not be allowed the power he wants.
Bush has got it right, at least he has the ***** to take it all the way. If he fails to carry out his own agenda, because of public support, who do you think will stop the terrorist's, the fany millionaire who is running for the next presidency??
What I dont see by the media, is continuous coverage of whats happening with Bin Laden.
Or am I the victim or propoganda, and you guy's can see through it??

The US and the UK have to work within the confines of international law. If they don't, do you think the next Robert Mugabe is going to listen to either the UK or the US when they tell him to behave?
Acting unilaterally would be extremely dangerous and from what we know of Sadam Hussain at *this* point - is not warranted.
I'd certainly advocate military action if the UN decrees that is is necessary. Nothing more, nothing less.
Anything else is just, frankly, dangerous.

I understand that the UK and US intelligence forces have significant evidence that they are now passing onto the UN inspectors. They held back in order to keep the element of surprise I believe. Could all be bull**** and propoganda though.
Why are the US and UK acting without the backing of the UN though?

I couldn't care less if Saddam was sodomised by Bush or the horse from animal farm. All I care about is that war would increase the price of petrol and that is a bad thing. Once the price goes up, it never comes down. The fact that we can spend 4 billion on a war that wasn't our problem to begin with whereas we couldn't afford 100 million for the firefighters and other important services also has something to do with it..

What I find strange is that Saddam says he has no weapons of mass destruction, the UN inspectors can't find them, but we still seem to be going to kick seven bells out of him.
On the other hand, North Korea have said they are kicking off their nuclear program again, have made veiled threats of world war three...... yet the US does nothing.
A little like the school bully if you ask me.
That said the world still needs to be rid of Saddam and the like.

For a mnute I thought you were gonig to say that you are against the war because thousands of innocent iraqi people will be killed and that the UK/USA will be guilty of breaking international law.
