Last July my fellas dad died. After the funeral the whole family went to the pub. Everything was going well, no fallings out (like there usually are when big families get together). Anyway, late in the evening (we had been drinking since 11am) one of my fellas cousins started acting the c*nt. Taking the **** out of my bloke and his brothers and generally winding them up. Politely, they asked him to leave. He just carried on. Anyway, in the end my fella lost it and kicked crap out of him. His cousin started ringing and texting threats that he was gonna kill him etc. Anyway, things stopped for a while but suddenly on Boxing Day, he rings again saying he's gonna kick my blokes head in blah blah blah. Has anyone got any ideas on how to deal with this? It's getting stupid now!

I recently ordered some pepper spray for the wife off e-bay. Just visit e-bay.com and search for it. It only costs about £4 inc postage.
Then when they call round you give them the good news andkick the **** out of them again.
alternativly, call the police and show them the text messages. It is a crime to send threats like this and they can arrange to trace the number and take action. Once they have then make sure that you follow it through.
Good luck.
You could also ask Astraboy as he is a revenge guru and I am sure he will have loads of ideas. Just mention "Revenge" 3 times and he will appear.
Jason.

Tried ignoring it? Slamming the phone down?
Alternatively do as Jason has said and report it to the police. You have the evidence there and it's his word against yours as to who started it all.
Spam his phone with hundreds of text messages from Free Text sites.

My fella always puts the phone down on him. It's scaring me cause I have a young son and I don't want him getting mixed up in all this!! I don't know about the police getting involved. Don't know if I can be bothered with the hassle! I can't imagine they will be very understanding either...... my fellas family have a really bad name/reputation in the area.
It's sad really because my bloke has really got a grip on his life and he's really grown up but this is spoiling it!

It sounds like you have 3 options:
1. Go to the police and demand that they investigate and stop them. If they show you little attention then put a complaint in or ask to speak to a senior officer especially as you have a child. You must follow this to the end though.
2. Goto a solicitor and enquire anout obtaining a restraining order on them. Even the threat of this in the form of a solicitors letter may be enough to deter them.
3. Play them at their own game and get a few suitable minded mates to pay them a visit and read them their hororscopes. (If you know what I mean)
Good luck and feel free to mail me if there is anything I an do.

As there was such a gap between him doing it in the first place and then not till Boxing Day, he probably got pissed & felt brave.
Would be concerened about doing anything as it could stir up the whole situation when nothing was going to happen.
If possible leave it for a while to see if anymore texts/calls appear.
If they do then I think your fella will know what to do. He's done it once already

Tell the feds you saw the other guy in his car, speeding They'll string him up by the nuts
Seriously though, I'd report it, no point fecking about and at least then you can get in first
And finally, how annoying is it hangin up from a mobile! It's just not as satisfying as a real phone

Next time they phone don't hang up let them carry on but put the phone down on the table , if they have any sense they will stop phoning as it will be costing them allot of money (especially to a mobile)

Lots of good ideas there! My other half don't want to go to the police. It's a 'family thing' Maybe the restraining order would be a good idea. I'll suss him out, see what he thinks.
I know his cousin only calls when he's p*ssed and feels brave! Still, I'd have thought he would have let it go by now. What a bloody retard!!!

would you rather your parter be raped or attacked or get a serious kicking...?????
Its a small price to pay and im sure the court would not exactly bring the heavy arm of the law down on you.. a female carrying something for self defence..

My post wasnt a judgement or opinion post, but was merely passing on information that jason may not be aware of
But on the same thought process, when a burglar breaks into your home, and you stab him to death, beat him up etc, who does the court side with
Unfortunatly the law
So I imagine the same would apply to the person with the illegal firearm, and sympathy may not be shown
I have my own opinions (which I wont post) again I was merely passing on information
Sorry if ppl dont like it

Some people are different i must be but im sure there will be some people who have similar views to me...
Some people will be typically british and just sit back and let people walk all over them just to be politically correct, but if it were a member of my family or close friend i would go out my way to protect them weather its legal or not... Dont get me wrong i would never walk around with a knife or gun thats plane stupid.
Everyone has there own morals and i would find using pepper spray on someone who was trying to attack either me or a member of my family acceptable, and as such i would be willing to face the legal consequences.
Just my 2p worth and im not having a dig at anyone..
