why a PII 400 in particular?
IMHO you will pay well well over the odds for that chip. They would be very rare, and only really useful for people who have like a server with say 4 in it, and 1 has gone down.

in that case if you dont get one cheap, look at a couple of the celerons with slot 1 convertors. Should cost about the same, but with a decent boost.
Either than or ditch the whole rig, thats dark ages mate. You want a nice new Athlon, thats what you want.
Or wait until they ramp the P4 speed up a bit, way to slow in real world at the mo.
