The papers say that the star is married, with kids, been in major movies and is known as a bit of a hellraiser. As Elton John is neither married or has kids, maybe not.

Dad thinks maybe Roger Daltry from The Who, but no one will know unless something is said. Tis all guess work again.

Yes there is along article/letter on his site which i read about 5 months ago. He seems to be activly discouraging this sickness that polutes the world. I for one hope that is the case as he is a hero of mine and love the music. Lets try to think innocent till guilty and not the other way round.

Have you read his statement? If he is guilty i will be gutted, i still feel to many people jump on the bandwagon and say it must be him when they dont even know and jump to accusations. If it is him then, well, ill put my hands up and say i was wrong. Will you?

I personally believe him, IMO there is no way the 'Tommy' lyrics could have been that bitter without there being something deep seated behind it.

BTW they did not get the details from his PC or an ISP as such, his credit card details turned up in a raid by the FBI on the offices of an American **** site, and the info was passed to Scotland Yard & obviously also the Media.

Of course if hes innocent I will hold my hand up. I've read his comments on the Sky News site (cant get to his site)

However, if by accident he stumbled onto a site. Then hes innocent in my book. But because he knowingly looked at and paid for access to a child **** site. Hes guilty of that. He says hes not a paedophile, but just because you arent actually participating in events like this (or looking without a proper reason e.g. the Police paedophile unit) then its tantamount to wanting to be involved somehow. And as for speaking to a Lawyer friend informally, how do we know that this lawyer isnt also involved?

He talks in his statement about helping out the NSPCC and an Internet watch group. Well I think they wouldnt want him to go paying for it, because it means that somewhere in the world another child will suffer!

And if he was abused as a child then thats in his head, he doesn't need to be prompted to remember what happened does he? How many Child abusers have had horrible experiences in their childhood?

His excuses dont add up to what a sensible person would do. I also think that (understandably) you are too biased on favour of him becasue you happen to like his music.

I take your points and yes i guess i am biased because of love of music. It would be good for you all to read the long letter diary post on his site but as you said, his site is not accessable at the moment. Why i ask? When it is back up i will find the link.

The point on paying by c/card to look is well at best naive, perhaps it is for research, only he knows.
All i know is that this rubbish is a sad tale for all involved especially the children and we as people must find a way to monitor it to stop this evil.
He is still innocent till proven guillty in my eyes, my opinion thats all.

I don't know if he's genuine or not, but.....

I think the actual UK offence is making pictures of child ****, which actually means looking at a picture and the picture being on your hard drive either by saving it or the picture being part of IE's cache.

In this respect he must be guilty.

Research has proven that most abusers have been abused.

Apart from peado's being sick I can't believe that these people(Lawyers, Judges, Policemen, teachers etc.) gave thier credit card details to take part in a criminal act.

Its like robbing a bank then asking them to pay the money into your account.

If Pete is doing "research etc" for work that he carries out on behalf of charities etc.................???? Then why did he/they not approach the police and ask to visit the Paedophile unit and talk to them and ask them to show him details???? that way he would be protected.

I hope he is innocent and he has just made a stupid mistake.

Thats the best way of removing suspicion isnt it? Say you hate it when you really like it. (I HATE 22Bs ) And sorry but the whole "I only looked to see whats there" doesnt wash with me. I can guess whats on those type of sites. I WONT be going there to check though. I wouldnt be stupid enough to put credit card details in either!!. And as for him telling the police what hes going to do. What a lame excuse! Do you really think the Police wil say "well thats ok, have the time of your life, and let us know what you see"!!!!

Its all BULL IMHO Hes as guilty as Glitter and King.
