Hi

I'm replacing an old network & instructing an electrician - experienced in cabling, to put in the fibre backbone. The site is a holiday park over a "campus" type layout. Total length is 1.4km with cable breaks about 3 times for a Switch. Cable will be 100mbs FX.

Speaking to 3Com & then various other people, I have been recommended various specs for the cable - multimode 50/500, single mode etc.

Please can anyone point me to a resource where I can find the required specs?
