Trackday Advise Required
#1
Ok - I have been to a number of trackdays at Bedford ( I know sorry shouldn't swear ) previously, but always with a friend and the Skyline bunch, which is always great fun hurtling around in a 1 1/2 ton car at Mach 17 - but not when you are not driving ( friend owns Skyline ! - Oh and keep getting black flagged )
Want to have a go myself so was looking at the Evo beginners days at Brands.
Now the question is do I take my 325Ci Sport.. Or my other halfs 1.6 Zetec Focus ( 3dr ), which can be fully insured for that sort of thing !!
Would prefer to take the Focus as the handling is much more predictable and fun, but am a little worried that I may be embarrassed and basically not have enough juice....
Comments Please
Cheers,
Paul

Paul -
All MHO - I really can't see why there's a problem with whatever car people decide to take to trackdays. The main thing is for you and everyone else to have fun and take your cars home in one piece.
I'm sure most other people feel the same - and are more bothered about your behaviour, etiquette and attitude to the day - rather than the type of car you turn up in. Who cares whether you set the track alight or not?
I'd suggest that if they have a problem with the Focus - you're probably best off not going on that trackday anyway. Having said that, I don't think I'd take my everyday car to a trackday....
