Just read in Rally XS that a new Rally game for PS2 is due out in September.
Called World Rally Championship 2001.
The preview screen shots look good and you can actually go over the cliffs if you get it wrong.
It's being developed by a chap called Martin Kenwright of Evolution Studios working closely with ISC ( Dave Richards ).

Yeah, the in-game terrain is created procedurally, and the cars deform in real time.
The guy who's doing it used to write some of the best flight sims on the plantet at DID - EF2000, etc...
Looks promising - and the bloke is an EVO driver too, so he gets my vote!
