I saw a TFT monitor for a mere £180 the other day and have gotten to thinking about replacing the TV in the bedroom with one.
I have a good few spare VCR's and amps lying around so is it possible to hook these up for at std. type TV set up (what leads do I need if I can?)

Probably won't work as TFT monitors usually accept RGB signals at a different frequency to TV signals.
I think you can get something for a Playstation that allows you to use them with computer monitors, this might help (or it might not).

A monitor is basically a TV without the tuner.
I can't see how you'll manage it without a tv card running from the back of your pc. Look on Google, you may see a gadget to run one as a TV. I have seen tft tv's for sale but they are prohibitively expensive a the moment and very small
