Excellent end to last year for me...
Stopped in town on New Year's Eve to nip into the Post Office, and as I was walking back to my car some woman reversed over me in her Ford Focus
One swift trip to hospital later, I'm stuck at home with a mashed-up foot and can hardly get up and down the stairs nevermind take the car out on what's supposed to be my holiday
The dozy bint has been charged with driving without Due Care & Attention, and I'm contacting my solicitors in the morning.
But here's the killer ... she apparently works for The Accident Group ("Where There's Blame There's A Claim"). As much as I despise these ambulance-chasing morons, if it's a company car she was driving I'm tempted to hand the case over to one of their competitors and let them slug it out
What's the fee structure for these people, or do they just take say 30% of the insurance payout ? I have to say, I'm unlikely to use one of them, but I just find the irony of the situation rather amusing

Assuming it's a company car, I'd imagine they'd rather settle than raise the bad publicity of a protracted dispute. If they seem willing, then use their haste to claim a little extra.

Mashed up foot over Xmas by an employee of the Accident Group?
Hmmmm - well seeing as where there's blame, there's a claim
I reckon £50,000 out of court would be good, otherwise you'll be contacting one of their competitors and the national press.
