If anybody is looking for insurance give Bennets Elite a wide berth. Their Customer service is terrible with waits of up to 20-30 minutes to speak to someone. Mean while you get cheesy music and lots of apologies for keeping you waiting. Direct Line my new insurers answer almost straight away.
I cancelled my policy after I sold my RB5, and getting my money back took months. They even claimed they did not get my cancellation letter. I had to send them a registered letter, even then they took their time.
I am still waiting for them to send proof of NCB.
They may be cheap but there is a reason.

I've with them at the moment and have been for a while. The time on hold has got a lot longer(but not as long as NTL). On the plus side they knocked a 100 quid off when I was due to go somewhere else. On the whole 7/10/

Would this be the same Direct Line that have to record my STi 5 rear wing as a low level rear spoiler, as that is apparently the only kind you can fit to an Impreza? The same one that 'has not received' the installation information for my tracker / alarm / immobiliser which I sent in June, after they demanded I sent the originals (against my better judgement)? The same one that I had to phone 3 times to get said rear wing added to my poilcy, and still have failed to record my colour coded skirts, along with the minidisc player on the poilcy?
They may answer the phone quickly and be cheap, but come renewal time if someone else can get anywhere near their quote (Rum, expect a call in April) I will be going elsewhere.
(As you may guess last week was not a very good week for me with them )
(I appologise to the one Direct Line employee who was very helpful when I agreed to their quote and arranged my green card, seemed to know what a car was as well)

Rang though this morning and after 10 minutes got put through to Sales ????
I was promised someone from customer services would call me back urgently.
That was two hours ago.
Both the car and its insurance have been nothing but a headache. Never Mind life and cars go on.
