Does anyone have any idea when the next batch of these is due to be delivered?

V-Shop (real crap ex-Our Price stores) GURANTEED me a delivery date on 24th Nov, but that was obviously bollox.

No store I know knows the answer, does anyone here?

I'm in the same boat, only with Dixons in Edinburgh.

The store has told me that they have handed all of their pre-order forms to Sony, and that it is 'out of their hands' !!!!

They still reckon that I will get it before Christmas, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was informed that if you didnt get your Playstation on the initial run........you would have to wait until March next year!!!!

 

I remember hearing that the second batch of PS2s wouldn't arrive until after Christmas

 

If you pre-ordered and got confirmation you should receive your PS2 before Christmas.
I know for sure another batch of pre-ordered PS2s have been delivered and are being collected.
At least the March delivery coincides with GT3 ...

My Nov 24th PS2 is being replaced on the 14th Dec due to lip-sync problem with DVD playback..... it's not at all major but i want a perfect machine (obviously). Sony must have a stock of spares as they have no problem in getting me a replacement!

Anyway, i hear the UK are getting another 20,000 PS2's for the UK prior to Xmas delivery.

I have now had two letters saying that the next letter will be to tell me when to pick up my PS2 !!!!

I'm the same as Neil, My 24th Nov PS2 has lipsink probs, but was told today that it will be replaced with a brand spanking new one on Friday 15th.

I recon there are deliveries every week, it's just a question of where you are on the waiting list.

I tried to pre order from Dixons, but missed the first allocation, put a 1p deposit on a reservation, received a call from Dixons that they would get another delivery before Xmas, turned it down though, cos already had a 24th reservation from Game.

Apparently 500,000 are being shipped at the moment, which will go to all of the pre-orders that didn't receive them on the first run. The rest of us will have to wait until at least March. Bugger!!

Can't remember where I heard this, but it could have been psweb.com or ps2web.com.

 

Phoned the careline just now and after holding in the queue for 15mins got through to a guy in tech support and explained the lip synch problem. He says they will courier out another unit on the 19th. I forgot to ask if it will be brand spanking new?, will it?

I'm in the same boat. Yep, brand spanking new, un-opened, you have to give back everyhting that came in the box, power supply, controler, all leads.
