Offline news reader for Windows?

Does anyone have a recommended program preferably freeware.
I looked at FreeAgent but that means you have to read headers and then re-connect to download what you want.
I want something that can download a days unread news from Usent and have it on my PC so that I can read it offline.

FreeAgent should do what you want. If you select the Group menu option, then click on the Properties menu and go to the Retrieving pane. Choose the options to Override default settings and Retrieve bodies for all new messages. That hopefully should do the trick.
If it doesn't work, then you could have a look at the newsreaders that come with IE or Netscape. It's been a while since I used either of them, but in the earlier versions I wasn't impressed. Alternatively try doing a search on
