TekkenTag on PS2
#1
Is anyone else out there experiencing "Lock up" on this disc?
One copy I had was definitely faulty - scratched disc.
Borrowed a friends copy and still experienced problems.
1. The "Select Language" screen always comes up when reset.
2. The "Select Language" screen will not go away meaning I have to reset the console.
3. When I do get past the "Select Language" screen it does not always play the entire intro scene
4. After giving it large, opening cans of "Whoop ***" and emptying them, then selecting a new character to do the same again, I get sound, but the screen does not change!
Anyone else getting this on Tekken or any other titles?
Don't get this problem on other PS2 or PS1 games and haven't tried a DVD.

Took the offending copy back to Electronic Boutique.
The buffoon behind the counter asked if the machine was placed horizontal or vertical implying a vertically positioned unit might cause damage to the disc
Er ... scuse me !
I personally think this was a rather foolish thing to say. Anyway, got the disc changed.
BTW My machine is horizontal.

It would have to be a pretty hard slap to knock sense into that particular fool !
I can't be bothered with these fools anymore.
As far as PS2 goes I'll rent a game first and buy using
