New versions of Macromedia Products
If you are a web pro then may be of interest..
Dreamweaver4/Fireworks4 just out today. I've just bought and downloaded the upgrade ($199 and a 45MB download)
some nice features to be had, whether its worth £140 I dunno, but hey its only money.
Be interested to hear from anyone who has any particular dislikes. For one, I didnt enjoy Flash5 - I had to go out and buy a 22" monitor so I could cram on all those faffing floating palettes..(any ol excuse eh

Is it only me who thinks Macromedia bring out new versions too often with too few new features at too high a price?
How come I have to pay £199 to upgrade a product I only bought 2 months ago

This came out a few weeks ago. Due to ship boxed product in December. Lee / Gem where did you get yours from as I could have saved you a few quid ??
Macromedia and Adobe are sluggin it out at the moment for dominance in this area so both of them are keen to have all the latest features in . Some of the new features in Dreamweaver look really good if you use that sort of thing.

I bought mine direct from Macromedia.
Still haven't had a chance to play, but the javascript debugger looks like a welcome addition.
I think these versions will last a while..after all they are only tools for editing html, and this hasn't changed for a bit. Now Macromedia have a unified interface across products I can't see them adding a great deal unless the raw web technologies change.
