Question

Did You know.... that approx £40 on the price of all new Scoobs is a contribution to Coventry City as part of the sposorship deal? Was told this by a dealer about a year ago ( I believe it's more for Isuzus) As a Sky Blue fan, I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you all very much..I bought an import!!!!!
By the way I am utterly immune to comments such as "Yorrr goin down" so bother ye not!!

Wink

Can you clarify is this £40 per each Scooby sold in the UK, or is it just that the percentage of a UK car spent on advertising via Coventry is equal to £40.
Would this affect European sourced cars if Coventry ever made it into Europe?
My car is from Europe, so hopefully I have not contributed, however, if I have then your appreciateion is noted.

Apparently of your £21K or thereabouts, £40 odd goes to CCFC. Therefore the more sold the better the club is. Must stress this is not gospel, just what was said at the time.Buy up Boys!

Being a Villa boy that's truly disheartening news !! How come you lucky barks get the best sponsor eh ???
Mind you, last season Villa did have LDV on their shirts - bet you were jealous ??

Neil.

ps. Villa fans check out the DVLA site - plates such as P1 4VFC for 250 squids. I may have to go this route as my plate is Walsall Football Club. Ewwww.
