Got a letter from SONY this morning. The letter explained that the 'Next' letter i receive will be for me to pick up my PS2!!!!
Not sure what to make of that.!

I got that one last week with the blue book, then this Monday I got a letter from Dixons direct asking for final payment, to choose my games and saying that my PS2 will be with me 'soon'.

Did your letter say payment upfront aswell, as i've also ordered mine from game but still no letter
and im going to be very pee'd if i have to pay before i pick up.

no, apparently I just have to pay the balance on the day, I put a £25 deposit on it.

Typical,
I pre-order on the 7th Oct (pre-order day) and yet im lagging behind some of you guys.
Games to buy,,,,,, TimeSplitters and SSX are looking favorite at the moment.
Im getting Driver2 soon so that'll be played on PS2.

I shall be taking a plain bag ( Mother in Law? ) to the shop when i pick it up. I heard that in Japan muggers robbed PS2's off people after they picked theirs up.
No blood and guts feature in TimeSplitters which is a shame. (PS Doom still one of my favorites and there is plenty of Claret in that
)
One of the current Playstation magazines comes with a DVD with 1 hour video trailers of PS2 games in action.

Just been checking out some of the UK PS2 BBS's.
I don't believe it!!!! There are people out there who Pre-Ordered their PS2's one, two or more weeks after the first day and they've had their letters confirming Nov 24th delivery.
Thats it, im throwing my toys outta this pram!

I just got an e-mail today from Electronics Boutique informing me my order was about to be despatched today!
Don't believe them mind... bet they're just taking the money today, and it'll turn up next Friday, as they said in their e-mail a couple of days ago.
Mind you, what's really annoying is that my brother has been developing on one of these things for the last 6 months Typical!

I pre-ordered my PS2 on the 7th Sept.
My local shop entered my details on the Sony internet site.
They have been told that although they have pre-register 82.
They will only get 21 units.
I am 6 outside the 21 units.
Boy am I P@*!?d off.
Sony rearrange this well known saying:

So, What games to get.
Timesplitters is a definate. SSX is a strong possibility...... but what about Smugglers Run?
Maybe i'll just get TSplitters and await the second batch of games..... argh! can't decide

There seem to be limitless permutations.
Yesterday I received the "You will have it before Christmas" letter, but didn't get the "blue book" that some people have received when they got that letter...
